Dried-N-Alive Chicken Formula

Dried-N-Alive Chicken Formula is an interesting food. It’s not so much dried (like a kibble) as it is dehydrated. While you can feed it dry, you can also soak it in warm water for half an hour to rehydrate it, which makes it an economical alternative to feeding your dog canned foods. Just 3 pounds of this food can be rehydrated to make 9 pounds of wet food. It’s suitable for dogs of all ages, but it’s important to note that puppies of certain ages may need to eat up to twice as much as an adult dog of the same weight. The vitamins and minerals in this food are chelated, which means that they’re more biologically available. It’s made from all raw ingredients, which have been slowly dehydrated to preserve their nutrients. This food is free from grains, potatoes and other ingredients that are often perceived as fillers.

Dried-N-Alive Chicken Formula Ingredient Analysis

1.Chicken

2. Chicken liver

3. Dried eggs

4. Dried apples

5. Dried peas

Raw chicken makes up the bulk of this food. It’s rich in 10 amino acids that are essential for you dog to stay healthy. Although it loses a lot of its weight from water during the drying process, this can be added back in by rehydrating the food.

The second ingredient is chicken liver. Certain vitamins and minerals – such as iron and vitamin A – are found in a higher concentration in chicken liver than they are in the rest of the meat.

The dried egg powder in this food is made from raw, shell-free eggs. Eggs are rich in protein, have a high biological value and are easily digested.

Apples are full of fiber as well as containing a range of vitamins including A, C, B6, E and K. It’s unusual to find fruits in dog foods, but they do have high nutritional value and many dogs enjoy their sweetness.

Peas are members of the legume family, which makes them high in protein. They also contain plenty of carbohydrates and fiber.
