The reason why many pet food places are dropping Natura foods is because PROCTER AND GAMBLE BOUGHT THEM OUT! Most places are no longer endorsing Natura products. I need a fast change to my dogs’ California Natural diet. Don’t suggest Merrick, tried it and it’s too rich, and I suspect Fromm would be, too.

  2. Jess says:

I am in the same boat and I am looking for a simple food that is manufactured in house and has a light price tag. I am looking hard at First Mate, but the issue with that product is the lack of meat. Go and Now are also on my radar list along with Precise Holistic. I also am feeding Horizon Legacy and Taste of the Wild-wetlands. I bought 2 bags of C.N. and those are my last 2.

My dog can not eat Merrick’s, but did fine on Fromm’s but is hard to get in my area.

  3. Beata says:

Donna, you r confusing Natural Balance and Natura Pet Food, two different companies. The second one, that makes California, was bought out.

  4. Terry S says:

Ultra has been our trusted dog food of choice for our puppies through our older dogs. They all have shiny coats and are extremely healthy and happy. The love the taste of it too and get very excited at mealtime! We buy Natural Balance Healthy Bones treats as well, which are also made with quality ingredients. We will continue to raise our dogs on this healthy natural and wonderful dog food.
