My three Shelties (one of the breeds infamous for stomach upsets) LOVE their Organix dog food - particularly if I spoon a little homemade beef or chicken stock over it. They had numerous problems with other brands (except the Nutro Lamb Small Bites and the Paul Newman adult food) including both the cheap foods with corn and other nasty ingredients, and some premium brands (which gave them the nastiest smelling gas requiring us to evacuate the house). This is perfect for their health, does not overly dent my budget and reduces the amount of stool. By the way, they have not required a vet visit for any type of illness since they started on it over three years ago.

I have just put my 4 year old Samoyed on Organix Grain Free Adult Dog Food and she seems to be having some digestive problems. She doen't want to eat anything, and won't even drink much water. You can hear her stomach making noises, and she seems to have gas. Has anyone had digestive problems with their dog on ths food?

I started our rescue puppy out on C&P Organix Puppy Formula. She loved the food and I was impressed with the holisitc ingredient list. However, we have since switched to Blue as the C&P seemed to give her an amazing amout of flatulence. We kept her on the C&P for 6mo in an effort to give things the time to sort itself out, to no avail.

The pet store had sold out of C&P Puppy Food so I tried the Blue on recommendation of the store clerk. There was no wheat, corn or soy so I thought I'd give it a try. She was completely out of food and I had to have something for her to eat. She really liked the Blue puppy food and I noticed that the frequence of flatulence as well as the ...er... strength of the odor was greatly decreased by the switch.

I don't know if anyone else's dog has problems such as our dog's while eating Castor & Pollux. :)

my dog seems to really enjoy this food. he stays with the bowl and finishes every morsel. i like how the pieces are now cut into heart shapes and that i can see the banana chips, peas and carrots. it looks healthy. i couldn't locate the food at first because they changed their bags from the red and white stripes. i have also used blue, natural balance and other fancy brands, but this is the one my dog seems to enjoy the most, followed closely by natural balance

My 10 year old mixed breed was very sick this week. Wouldn't eat, but would drink water. I gave her Pedialyte and baby food (without onion powder--you have to check) mixed with a small amount of cooked organic chicken liver, and she started to come around. After a couple of days, I offered her some Organix adult food. To my shock, she ate it all (half a can). I've been feeding her Organix now for the past 4 days--she's up to 2 cans a day. She likes it and has perked up considerably. Not making any claims, just pleased that she's eating again and will continue with this food.

I started my pug puppy on Castor and Pollux Organix dry, mixing in a spoon of the Ultramix wet, and she absolutely adores it! Amazingly, she pitches a fit the moment I go for the food, something our previous pugs never did on other brands like Ultra and Blue Buffalo.

I have nothing negative to say about this food. I love the ingredients list, I find the price middle of the road, and as I testified :) Sadie the Pug loves it!

I'm a guy that reads reviews, studies ingredients, and genuinely cares about pet health. Unless someone convinces me otherwise, it's Organix for life.

For those who mentioned it's not 100 organic and they are trying to fool you. Please go to their website and read their FAQ's they explain it all and no they are not trying to fool you. They never state there food is 100% organic.

"Our Organix formulas contain organic, free-range chicken as the #1 ingredient followed by chicken meal – outstanding sources of highly digestible, animal-derived protein. At this time, there are no sources of organic chicken meal..."

And chicken meal is not the same as chicken by-products. 'Meal' is actually beneficial to your pet. Just read people read.

My two dachshunds have been on Natural Ultramix Weight Management formula for almost 5 years now. My older doxie had severe skin allergies before starting on Natural Ultramix and now has no problems. I was very dismayed today to find out that the stores in my area have chosen not to carry the weight management formula anymore. I finally found a store that will order the product for me (so I can avoid the shipping charges). I was told that this formula was moved out of the stores to make room for the new varieties that have just come in. So sad!

My almost 5 month old puppy has been eating Natural Ultramix Puppy-Dry for 2 weeks. She has had less 'waste', but been gassy - whew! Is it the food?
I had spent the previous month switching her from Nutro to this wheat-free food, hoping it would help keep her from scratching herself raw.
thanks! oh, she is a large breed mix. 30 pounds now.
