We just wanted to fill in my portion of how we feel about this kibble. We have several dogs on this kibble. We have tried Purina dog chow, purina one, pedigree, iiams, science diet, royal canin, blue buffalo. None seem to work with ALL our rescue dogs. We currently are only housing four dogs. One is a Pitbull puppy, one a senior she is least 7 she is a boxer, another boxer who is 5 years old and one eight month old shepherd mix. One purina dog chow the pitties hair was falling out and she had horrible breath, the senior boxer could not eat... the shepherd was lookin a bit thick and the 5 year old boxer would not eat but a lil bit, we think the smallest amount to survive. Since starting Avoderm... they all cant wait to eat.We dont have to put a food topper on it!!! we just toss it into the bowls and feed, with in 10 or 15 min the bowls are clean and they have burped and are now sleeping. they LOVE IT!

thanks so much for such a great kibble. We love how much our rescues love eating it!

We purchased the adult dog food version of Avoderm for our 4-year-old chocolate lab/border collie mix, Roxy. Our local Unleashed by Petco store manager recommended it, saying he'd never had anyone return it since he'd started in the business. Well he either lied or these people just threw out the food, because our dog HATES it! At first we thought it was because she was just getting used to it, but just over a week of feeding it to Roxy, she will skip meals (we feed twice per day) and when she does it, she hardly ever finishes it. Usually she'll reluctantly eat several bites and walk away. She seems to have problems eating the rabbit-food-sized kibble, too. We will be returning this to Unleashed by Petco tomorrow and getting a replacement food ASAP. Our dog used to inhale her old food (Science Diet Oral Care) taking less than 5 minutes to eat it all. Not with Avoderm.

Final call: Skip it!
