AvoDerm Natural Chicken Meal and Brown Rice Large Breed Puppy Dog Food Review
We are concerned with the lack of meat in this ingredient. Dogs are natural carnivores and need a diet that is filled with meat.
AvoDerm Natural Chicken Meal and Brown Rice Large Breed Puppy Dog Food First Five Ingredients Analysis:
- Chicken Meal
- Ground Whole Brown Rice
- Ground Rice
- Oatmeal
- Salmon Meal
Chicken Meal is going to be this formulas main source of Meat. Herring Meal is further in the ingredients, far enough we don’t believe it offers much benefit. Salmon meal is the second source of meat in the fifth ingredient.
Ground Whole Brown Rice is the second ingredient in this formula. This ingredient is followed up by another rice ingredient in the second spot. Those two rice ingredients combined probably outweigh the meat content.
The fourth ingredient Oatmeal is also a decent quality ingredient. If your dog is allergic to gluten oatmeal this ingredient should be avoided.
