Artemis Small Breed Puppy Dog Food Review
Artemis Small Breed Puppy Dog Food is decent quality dog food formula. This formula has a good balance between grains and meat. While this formula is not a entirely grainless formula, we feel that the grains it does use are of good quality.
Artemis Small Breed Puppy Dog Food First Five Ingredients Analysis:
- Chicken
- Turkey
- Chicken Meal
- Salmon Meal
- Pearled Barley
Chicken is the first ingredient and is inclusive of its water content. This means that once this ingredient is cooked and turned into a dry ingredient it will have lost most of its water content, thus making it fall further in the ingredients list.
Turkey is the second ingredient and is also inclusive of its water content.
Both these ingredients are backed up by named meat sources in the from of meal. Which makes us believe that this food has a good amount of meat and protein coming from meat.
Pearled Barley is a grain and of decently quality. Barley is an excellent source of carbohydrates and provides additioanl plant protein.

Review
Has anyone experienced their puppy having horrible gas with this puppy food?
My pup eating this brand after before consuming eukanuba. He seems more active than my previous pup who’s growing up eating eukanuba. But one thing I notice is his excessive gas problem. He keeps flatulating (fart). I think it’s because of this food. My puppy is a westie, btw. Is this a major problem? If its so, I’ll consider to change his dogfood.
