Artemis Power Formula Dog Food Review
Artemis Power Formula Dog Food food is decent quality dog food formula. This formula has a good balance between grains and meat. While this formula is not a entirely grainless formula, we feel that the grains it does use are of good quality. This formula of Artemis Dog Food does contain Beet Pulp, an ingredient we prefer not used in dog food.
Artemis Power Formula Dog Food First Five Ingredients Analysis:
- Chicken Meal
- White Rice
- Chicken Fat
- Lamb Meal
- Dried Beet Pulp
The first ingredient Chicken Meal is a named meat ingredient. This is a major plus for dog food formulas. Dog’s need ample meat and protein in their diets.
White rice is the third ingredient and is going to be this formulas main grain content. Rice is a decent quality grain and provides dogs with a good source of carbohydrates.
Lamb meal is the fourth ingredient. This ingredient provides additional meat and protein in the form of meat protein.
The fifth ingredient is one we prefer not used in dog food. Beet Pulp has been said to cause extra stress on the liver and kidneys. While some say its a great source of Fiber, we believe there are better sources of fiber that are not as controversial.

Review
In this otherwise good (not great) food, there is beet pulp as the fifth ingredient. Since it is such a controversial filler and common allergen not to mention linked to other doggy health problems, I have to say I’d be very hesitant to recommend this food, especially considering its hefty price tag.
