Artemis Agarx Immune Support Dog Food Review

Artemis Agarx Immune Support Dog Food is decent quality dog food formula. This formula has a good balance between grains and meat. While this formula is not a entirely grainless formula, we feel that the grains it does use are of good quality.

First Five Ingredients:

Artemis Agarx Immune Support Dog Food First Five Ingredients Analysis:

  1. Chicken
  2. Turkey
  3. Chicken Meal
  4. Turkey Meat
  5. Brown Rice

Chicken is the first ingredient and is inclusive of its water content. This means that once this ingredient is cooked and turned into a dry ingredient it will have lost most of its water content, thus making it fall further in the ingredients list.

Turkey is the second ingredient and is also inclusive of its water content.

Both these ingredients are backed up by named meat sources in the from of meal. Which makes us believe that this food has a good amount of meat and protein coming from meat.

Turkey Meat in the fourth and is inclusive of its water content. This means that once this ingredient is cooked and turned into a dry ingredient it will have lost most of its water content, thus making it fall further in the ingredients list.

Brown Rice is the fifth ingredient and is the main source of grains. Rice is a decent quality grain and provides additional carbohydrates.

Considering a lot of people are not so keen on feeding a grain-free food, I think this is the best non-grain-free food I’ve seen yet! If people are looking for a high-quality kibble but don’t want grain-free, I’d recommend this one, especially since they still make it mostly meat without the super high protein percentages that scare some people away from great foods.

  2. My Boxer dogs do so well on Agarx Immune Support. I hope that I can find it. The store I buy it from is not going to carry it any more. C and C Pet Food.
Any ideas where I can buy the 33lb bags for a reasonable price. I live in the San Fernando Valley, Ca.

This food is a ten as far as I’m concerned.

I think this is as good if not better than some of the grainless foods. To bad I can’t find this where I live.

Do they even make this formula any longer? It’s not listed on Artemis’s website.
